The Mental Health Foundation of Texas is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting mental well-being and improving access to affordable mental health resources. Past Events
In August 2023, the Mental Health Foundation of Texas (MHFTX) hosted a vibrant and inspiring launch event at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH). The purpose of the event was to introduce our organization to the community and showcase our mission to provide mental health resources and education across Texas. Attendees had the opportunity to offer their input on our initiatives and engage in insightful discussions. The event featured speeches from key community leaders and fostered connections and collaborations aimed at enhancing mental health accessibility and inclusivity. The successful launch set a promising tone for MHFT’s future efforts in advocating for mental health care for all.

Annual Indoor Pickleball Tournament hosted by MHFTX

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and is most popularly played as doubles (2v2) on a court half the size of a tennis court with an oversized ping pong paddle and a small plastic ball. The rules are a mix of tennis and ping pong and are easy and fun for all ages to play together.
